Olcay Gür (born March 27, 1991 in Trabzon ) is a Liechtenstein football player of Turkish descent.

Career

Gür was born in the province of Trabzon in 1991 and moved to Liechtenstein with his family as a child . He started his professional career at the Liechtenstein club USV Eschen-Mauren . After just one season, he moved within the league to FC Schaan . In the summer of 2011 he moved to the Swiss 2nd league interregional to Churr 97 . With this club he came to regular substitutions in his first season and won a regular place in his second season.

In the summer transfer period 2013 Gür moved to the Turkish second division club Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . Since he has Turkish citizenship, he will not take an additional foreigner place here. In the summer of 2015, his contract, which was valid until 2016, was terminated prematurely by mutual agreement.

In April 2015, Gür joined the FV Ravensburg. Since then he has played in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg .

National team

Gür played a total of seven times for the Liechtenstein U-21 national team between 2010 and 2012 . He has been active for the Liechtenstein national team since 2013 .
