Oleśnica is a town in the Staszowski powiat of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Poland . The city with around 1850 inhabitants is the seat of the city-and-country municipality of the same name with around 3900 inhabitants.
The city is divided into the districts Budy, Wrzos, Zarzecze and Zwierzyniec.
history
Oleśnica received city rights in 1470 , which were revoked under Russian rule in 1869. On January 1, 2019, Oleśnica was reassigned to the city and the municipality got its current status.

In addition to the town itself, the town-and-country community Oleśnica includes ten villages with a school administration office (sołectwo).
