Olfert Molenhuis
Olfert Molenhuis (born September 28, 1983 in Assen ) is a Dutch long-distance runner .
Career
Molenhuis began his career initially as an 800 or 1500 m runner , then switched to the 3000 m obstacle , in which he won several national medals, but no title. From 2011 he then concentrated on the long journeys. In 2014 he won the national championship title over the 10,000 m distance , which was also his greatest success. In the same year he also ended his career at the top level, but continues to compete in running events, for example in 2016 over the 10 miles at the Jever Fun Run in Schortens , where he finished 8th.
