Olga Anne Maria Assink (born March 25, 1978 in Tubbergen ) is a former Dutch handball player who currently works as a handball trainer.

Career

Olga Assink initially played in the Netherlands for De Tukkers, E&O Emmen and van Riet Niuwegein. From January 2000, the cyclist was under contract with the Danish first division club GOG Gudme . With GOG she won the Danish Cup in 2000. From the 2003/04 season she ran on for the league competitor Viborg HK . With Viborg she won the Danish Championship in 2004 and 2006, the Danish Cup in 2003, the EHF Champions League in 2006 and the EHF Cup in 2004 . In the summer of 2006 she ended her career. In the 2009/10 season Assink returned to the squad of Viborg HK. She helped the club win the championship and win the EHF Champions League.

Olga Assink made 203 appearances for the Dutch national team . With 954 goals she is the record scorer in the Dutch selection.

After Assink worked as a youth coach at De Tukkers after retiring, she took over as coach of the women's team there in 2013. From October 2016 to October 2018 she also worked as an assistant trainer for the Dutch women's national team.
