Olga Misař

Olga Misař (born December 11, 1876 in Vienna ; died October 8, 1950 in Enfield ) was an Austrian writer, women's rights activist and peace activist .

Olga Misař was married to Wladimir Misar (* 1872) from Neuhaus in Bohemia . In 1900 their daughters Vera and Olga were born.

Olga Misař was a board member of the General Austrian Women's Association and the Austrian Women's Suffrage Committee. In 1915 she worked with Leopoldine Kulka on the International Committee of the Congress of the Women's Peace Conference in The Hague . In 1923 she became secretary of the Association of War Resisters (Austria), which was dissolved by the police in 1936. In April 1939 Olga and Wladimir Misar emigrated to London and were in close contact with War Resisters International (WRI).
