Oliver Grabes

Oliver Grabes (* 1967 in Mannheim ) is a German industrial designer .

Life

Oliver Grabes studied product design from 1986 to 1993 at the Offenbach am Main University of Design . Grabes was professor of industrial design / conception and drafting of consumer goods at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal in the Industrial Design course and deputy scientific director of the Bergisches Institute for Product Development and Innovation Management , an institute affiliated with the University of Wuppertal based in Solingen .

Since 2009 he has been chief designer at Braun GmbH in Kronberg im Taunus . Grabes worked for Microsoft , Sony , Hewlett-Packard , Panasonic , General Electric , Boeing , Johnson & Johnson , Nike and Reebok as well as Braun and Gillette . He lives in Frankfurt am Main .
