Oliver Kovačević (born October 29, 1974 in Split , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian football player .
Kovačević is a goalkeeper in the service of CSKA Sofia . Even though he was born in Croatia , his professional career began in 1996 at FK Milicionar in Serbia. There he stayed until the 2001 season after which he moved to FK Železnik . Four years later, the end of the 2005 season brought him his way to Samsunspor in Turkey but not for long. During the winter break of 2005/06 he moved on to CSKA Sofia in whose service he is still working. As a national player, he played three games, including friendlies and qualifying games for the 2006 World Cup . In this he was also in the squad of the Serbian-Montenegrin national team .
