Oliver Scheiblauer

Oliver Scheiblauer (born September 28, 1973 in Vienna , Austria ) is an Austrian chef.

Career and professional commitment

After an apprenticeship as a chef (1989 to 1992) at the 5-star Hotel de France in Vienna, Oliver Scheiblauer worked as Chef de Partie at the 5-star Hotel Jungfrau in Switzerland. From 1993 to 1994 he completed his military service and was in charge of the NCO's mess.

From 1994 to 1995 Scheiblauer was Executive Chef at Ches Robert in Vienna, followed by positions as Executive Sous Chef at Windows of Vienna (1995, 2 toques), as Executive Chef at Moderne Gartentechnik - Rational AG in Vienna (1996) and as Executive Sous Chef in the Sporthotel Royer in Schladming (1996/97).

In 1997, the chef and Alexander Eichinger founded Adventure Catering , which they both ran together until 2014. Scheiblauer also worked as Executive Chef. In 2000 the creative cooking school was founded .

Oliver Scheiblauer gained further international experience in 2004 in Los Angeles, California, where he cooked together with Wolfgang Puck and Lee Hefter at the 76th Academy Awards . In 2006 he was the first Austrian to complete a stage at El Bulli , the restaurant of the Spaniard Ferran Adrià .

In the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) had Durnthaler with several cooking shows: Freshly cooked (final cooking champion 2007) Beautiful Life (Austrian top chefs guest in Thailand, 2008) and at 65 shipments of concrete terms - the service magazine (2009-2012).

From 2010 to 2014 Scheiblauer ran a new restaurant concept with direct contact between the chef and guests, in which he served his “Reflective Cuisine”. In 2011 he was named Newcomer of the Year and from 2012 onwards he was awarded 89 points in the Falstaff Gourmet Club. Scheiblauer is also a regular member of the jury in various cooking competitions (e.g. Chef of the Year, Falstaff Young Talents Cup, Junge Wilde ).

In the course of his career, Oliver Scheiblauer dealt with various cooking techniques, cooking methods and meat processing. In 2014, this resulted in the establishment of the Aumaerk meat factory in Vienna. The Austrian chef runs these together with Alexander Eichinger and Harald Neumaerker.

Scheiblauer has repeatedly worked as a consultant, product developer and advertiser for various companies, including Rational , Global Messer , Eat the Ball , Unilever and Lohberger .
