Olivier Couvreur (born May 23, 1970 in Bondy ) is a former French racing driver .

Racing career

Olivier Couvreur began his career in karting , where he won the overall ranking of the French elite championship in 1985. In 1989 he switched to monoposto sport . In 1989 he was third overall in the French Formula Ford Championship behind William David and Patrick Lemarié ; In 1991 he was French Formula Renault - overall winner and won the 1993 overall standings of the Formula Renault 2.0 Euro Cup .

He had his last racing season in 1994. In the same year he contested the 24-hour race at Le Mans , but could not finish the endurance race after a defect in the Alpa LM's suspension .
