Olivier Kessler (born October 5, 1986 ) is a Swiss publicist, campaigner and economist.

Life

Kessler studied International Affairs & Governance and Business Journalism at the University of St. Gallen . From 2008 to 2012 he was secretary of the SVP in the canton of Schwyz . He then worked for several public affairs and media companies. Among other things, he was editor-in-chief of the newspaper Schweizerzeit for around 10 months in 2015/16 . As co-president of the association for the abolition of radio and television fees, he led the voting campaign for the “No Billag” initiative and was a speaker and guest on talk shows. He has also written guest comments for various newspapers, including a. for the NZZ , Finanz und Wirtschaft , CH-Media, the Swiss month and the world week . Kessler was Vice Director from 2016 and has been Director of the Liberal Institute since 2020 . He left the SVP.
