Reviews

The second album was also compared to Rammstein in the trade press.

“Conclusion: I have to break a lance for Ost + Front at this point. If you look around on the Internet, you will often find reports that demonize the band from the outset because they are supposedly just a cheap Rammstein copy. When I read something like this, I seriously ask myself; what the crap is about. I can't get rid of the feeling that a lot of people don't want to deal with the band. Of course, there are clearly influences from Rammstein and some of them are blatantly stolen from Rammstein. Ost + Front 2014 is a mixture of Links 2 3 4 and Rammlied. But still, many people make it too easy for themselves when they stick Ost + Front in the “imitation drawer”. The band has their own unusual and sophisticated lyrics and especially in Olympia you can see that Ost + Front finds itself and, above all, is independent. I can only advise everyone to form their own differentiated picture of the band and not to fall into the same stupid pigeonhole thinking from the outset. "

- Rene W .: Time for Metal

“CONCLUSION: A capable band and a passable album. If RAMMSTEIN didn't exist. "
