The men's tennis doubles at the 1896 Summer Olympics took place from April 8th to 11th. The bronze medal in doubles went only to the defeated Flack and Robertson in the semifinals, as the result of the Greek brothers Akratopoulos was counted as a defeat in the first round. Strictly speaking, the later Olympic champions thus had a bye in the semifinals.
