The defending champions were Edgar Leonard and Beals Wright . The final contested George Hillyard and Reginald Doherty against Josiah Ritchie and James Parke , which Hillyard and Doherty won 9: 7, 7: 5 and 9: 7. The bronze medal won Clement Cazalet and Charles Dixon , since Max Décugis did not appear at the games.
