Omari Michailowitsch Tetradze ( Russian Омари Михайлович Тетрадзе ; born October 13, 1969 in Welispiri , Georgian SSR ) is a former Soviet or Russian football player and today's football coach of Greek origin .
Tetradze was appointed to the Dinamo Tbilisi team in 1987 . In 1992 the defender was drafted into the Russian national football team , in which he was used a total of 37 times. As a player, Tetradze took part in the 1994 World Cup and was only on the field in the last game of the preliminary round against Cameroon (6: 1). Despite this success, the Sbornaja retired after the preliminary round. At the European Championships in 1996 , Tetradse was used in all three preliminary round games for over 90 minutes, even scored the intermittent 2: 2 against the Czech Republic and again missed the jump to the second round with his team.
After his active career, Tetradze trained Anzhi Makhachkala in 2007 . From 2010 to 2011 he was the coach of Volga Nizhny Novgorod . From 2013 to 2014 he trained Schetissu Taldyqorghan and from 2016 to June 2017 Tobol Qostanai from Kazakhstan.
