On My Way is a song by the American actress and singer Lea Michele from her debut album Louder . It was released on iTunes on May 4, 2014 as the second single from Louder . The song was written by Alexandra Tamposi and Fernando Garibay in collaboration with record producers Marcus Lomax, Jordan Johnson, Stefan Johnson and Clarence Coffee Jr.

On March 21, Michele announced via Twitter that On My Way had been selected as the album's second single. An appearance and an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show followed that same day .
The song is about the inner conflict between head and heart when it comes to getting involved with a person who is obviously not going to bring any good:
When my head tells me "no", my heart tells me "go", so I'm hitting in the road 'cause I, I know my heart's too drunk to drive, But I'm on my way to you
Music video
The music video was shot on April 19, 2014 in multiple locations in California , including a motel . The day before, Michele gave her fans information about the content of the video via Twitter. In the run-up to publication, she posted various preview clips on her YouTube channel. The video was posted on Vevo and YouTube on May 19, 2014 following an interview with Good Morning America .
