Career

Ondřej Švejdík started his career at SFC Opava . In 1999 he signed his first professional contract. In three seasons, the defender collected 24 missions without scoring a goal. In 2002 Švejdík moved to FC Bohemians Prague . In Prague , the defender came in the 2002/03 season on only four missions, the team was relegated to the 2nd division. In the 2003/04 season, Švejdík played 21 games and scored three goals. In the summer of 2004 Švejdík was committed by the first division promoted FK Mladá Boleslav for three years. Švejdík was regularly deployed in Mladá Boleslav .

After two years, Švejdík moved to the Dutch Eredivisie for FC Groningen , where he signed a three-year contract with an option for another year. After four years, Švejdík left Groningen to Sparta Prague .
