One Accord was a project choir of the Janz team , which was formed every year from international singers and musicians to tour Germany and Europe with an evangelistic concert program .
history
The Janz team organized the One Accord project for the first time in 1981 - an international choir made up of young Christians between the ages of 17 and 30, which was to regroup every summer to give concerts all over Germany and Europe with contemporary evangelistic music and to produce studio recordings.
The first album was released in 1982 as One Accord , the subtitle "Young people praise God" provides information about the commitment of the new formation. With For I am persuaded appeared in 1983, the second album with the same subtitle. In 1984 One Accord brought out his third work, Water of Life - for the first time with Danny Plett among the contributors. The LP was digitized on CD by the Janz Team in 2004 as part of its series for the 50th anniversary of the Janz Team Klassiker .
In 1988 the Canadian musician and songwriter Danny Plett took over the artistic direction of One Accord . With him the choir produced important albums like I Got Joy! , 1995, Heaven , 1997, and Flying , 1999, all of which received positive reviews from the camp of Christian pop music for their contemporary music with profound content . Danny Plett also discovered and promoted talents from the choir series such as Anja Lehmann and Yasmina Hunzinger .
In autumn 2007 One Accord formed one last time for its farewell tour.
