The core and the frame of the building are made of steel , the facade was clad with glass and aluminum. The One Liberty Plaza is used entirely for offices, with the exception of a few technical facilities. There is no generally publicly accessible area in the building. The total usable area of the 54 floors is 204,000 square meters. There are 39 elevators inside .
Opposite the building on the other side of Liberty Street is Ground Zero . Right next to the One Liberty Plaza, the 297 meter high Four World Trade Center has stood alongside other skyscrapers since 2013 .
