The Ongwediva College of Education (OCE) was one of four universities of teacher education in Namibia and offered three-year diploma courses in basic vocational education for blind primary and secondary school teachers : the Basic Education Teacher Diploma (BETD).
The university was based in the town of Ongwediva near Oshakati and was founded in 1913 by Finnish missionaries. In addition to teaching rooms, it also maintained a university library, a computer and art center, and student dormitories.
Effective April 1, 2010, the college was incorporated into the Faculty of Education at the University of Namibia .
