The Onkivesi is a lake in the Finnish landscape of Northern Savo .
The lake is fed by Lake Nerkoonjärvi in the north and flows to Lake Maaninkajärvi in the south and on to Kallavesi . The Ahkiolahtikanal connects the Onkivesi with the Maaninkajärvi. The area is 113.62 km². The lake is at a height of 84.7 m. Lapinlahti is located on the northeastern shore of the lake. Maaninka is not far from the south bank of the Onkivesi.
