Onra (born May 15, 1981 as Arnaud Antoine Rene Bernard ) is a beat producer from France . He lives in Paris .

His on radio - and Soul - sample -based production technology is in the hip-hop home varies at times but in the genre Dubstep and Electro .

history

Onra (reading backwards it sounds like his first name Arnaud) was born in 1981 in Trier, Germany . His parents are French, although his father's family has Vietnamese roots. Onra takes up his Asian roots in his music by sampling popular Chinese and Vietnamese records for his releases Chinoiseries (2007) and the sequels Chinoiseries Pt.2 (2011) and Chinoiseries Pt.3 (2017).

Onra became known to a wider audience during the 2008 Beijing Olympics when his catchy title "The Anthem" was used in a Coca-Cola commercial starring basketball players Yao Ming and LeBron James .
