The Opole Contributions to German Studies were a series of publications that appeared from 1999 to 2004 in the Peter Lang publishing group . The series was edited by the Polish German scholars Marek Zybura and Maria Katarzyna Lasatowicz from the German Institute of the University of Opole .

A total of seven volumes have been published, including two conference volumes from the International Germanist Conferences in 1998 and 2000 in Kamień Śląski , four collections of essays and one monograph . Topics were general problems on language and German-language literature and on the work of Friedrich Hebbel , Friedrich Schiller and Friedrich Hölderlin .
