The Organa Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Органа wrach Organa ) is a 1270 m high mountain on Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Imeon Range, it rises 6.9 km northeast of Cape James and 1.6 km south-southwest of Riggs Peak . the Letnitsa glacier lies east and southeast of it.
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the proto-Bulgarian leader Organa , uncle of the later Khan Kubrat in the 7th century .
