The Orléanais is a landscape and historical province of France , which takes its name from the capital Orléans . Before the French Revolution , it was ruled by the aristocratic Orléans family . After the revolution, the province was dissolved and divided into the departments Loiret , Loir-et-Cher and partly also Eure-et-Loir and Yonne .

The historic landscapes of Orléanais, Berry , Blaisois , Beauce and Touraine are now part of the Center-Val de Loire region .
