Osaka marathon

Osaka Marathon 2014

The Osaka Marathon ( Japanese 大阪 マ ラ ソ ン , Ōsaka Marason ) is a marathon that has been held in Osaka since 2011 in autumn . It is organized by Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City and the Osaka Athletics Association.

route

The start is west of the park that surrounds Osaka Castle . From there it goes first south, then west and after five kilometers on a turning point route that leads past the administration building of Osaka prefecture back to the castle. Then you walk west on another turning point route to the Osaka Dome . The second half of the course leads south past the landmark Tsūtenkaku and then turns west to the destination at Intex Osaka .
