Osea Vakatalesau (born January 15, 1986 ) is a Fijian soccer player.

Career

society

Vakatalesau is currently under contract with the Papua New Guinean first division club Hekari United FC . Before that, he played with YoungHeart Manawatu until August 2008 and with Ba FC in his native Fiji until June 2007 . Until December 2005 he wore the jersey of the Fijian club Lautoka FC , where he played again from January to August 2010.

National team

On November 17, 2007, he scored two goals in his country's game against New Caledonia , which ended in a 3-3 draw. This game was played as part of the OFC Nations Cup , which is also the qualifying tournament for the 2010 World Cup. In this qualifying competition he was the top scorer with 12 goals, but had to share the crown with Moumouni Dagano from Burkina Faso. He has scored a total of 24 goals in 11 games for Fiji so far , half of them against Tuvalu .
