The Tuvalu national football team is the selection team for the Pacific island state of Tuvalu .

Tuvalu is not a member of the world football association FIFA , so the country cannot qualify for football world championships. As an associated member of the regional association OFC , the team took part in the qualification for the Oceania Championship for the first time in 2007 . Since the qualification for the OFC Nations Cup (South Pacific Games 2007) also counted as a World Cup qualification, Tuvalu was the first non-FIFA member to - indirectly - take part in the qualification for the World Cup.

In September 2008, the Tuvaluan Prime Minister Apisai Ielemia and the President of the Tuvalu National Football Association , Tapugao Falefou, visited the FIFA headquarters in Zurich in the hope of attaining full membership of the organization. In 2011 the Dutch coach Foppe de Haan coached the national team, after which Leen Looijen took over the post. Bob Roosen currently holds the office.

The team scored four points at the 2011 Pacific Games , which is their best result to date.
