Toakai Puapua (born August 12, 1964 ) is a Tuvaluan gymnastics and soccer coach and former coach of the Tuvalus national soccer team .

Career

In 2007 he was during the South Pacific Games in 2007 in Samoa for football coach of the national team of Tuvalu appointed. In the first game of his career he succumbed to the Fiji team with a 16-0 defeat . Two days later, they lost 1-0 to the New Caledonia team . The third group match against Tahiti ended with a final score of 1: 1, Sekifu scored the goal for Tuvalu. The last game under Puapua's direction was a 4-1 defeat against the national soccer team of the Cook Islands , Tuvalu finished last in group A with one point.

Puapua's successor was Foppe de Haan in 2011 .

In 2010 Puapua was the coach of the Tuvaluan national futsal team at the Oceanic Futsal Championships 2010 , they reached the 7th place out of 7 participants.

From 2006 to 2008 he was the coach of FC Tofaga .
