Young Heart Manawatu was a New Zealand football - Franchise from Palmerston North , which from its establishment in 2004 until 2013 the New Zealand Football Championship played. After the 2012/13 season , which, like the two previous seasons, ended bottom of the table, the club did not receive a new license for the league. The franchise included a U-20 team in 2007 and from 2009 that took part in the National Youth League . This team continued to exist after the senior team was dissolved until 2015, from 2014 under the name Manawatu United .
The franchise played its home games in Memorial Park . In the all-time table, YoungHeart Manawatu, whose fans were known as "Green Frenzy", ranks sixth (out of ten) with 178 points.
