Oskar Janson

Oskar Janson (born June 11, 1919 in Sassenheim ; † April 14, 2011 ) was a German manager .

Oskar Janson studied business administration at the University of Cologne and was awarded a Dr. rer. pole. PhD.

Janson was a board member of Deutsche Edelstahlwerke AG , later a member of the board of Thyssen Handelsunion AG in Düsseldorf and from 1973 to 1984 spokesman for the board of Thyssen Niederrhein AG. During his tenure in 1980, what was then the largest electric steel mill in Germany was put into operation at the Oberhausen site . For Thyssen Niederrhein, he was also a member of the Commerzbank Advisory Board . In 2010 he lived in the Essen district of Kettwig .
