Oskar Juritko

Oskar Juritko (born August 9, 1889 in Gassen , Sorau district (Lausitz) , † May 4, 1967 in West Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Oskar Juritko attended an elementary school in Rixdorf near Berlin and did an apprenticeship as a lathe operator . In 1907 he joined the SPD. From 1929 he was an administrator at the Berlin-Neukölln property management. With the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists in 1933, Juritko was released for political reasons and placed in " protective custody " the following year . From 1939 he was able to find work at the tobacco factory Martin Brinkmann AG .

After the Second World War , Juritko worked again as a property manager. In the first Berlin election in 1946 he was elected to the city ​​council of Greater Berlin . In the next election in 1948 , Juritko was re-elected, and at the end of 1950 he left parliament.
