The East Bay is a bay in the East Antarctic Kaiser Wilhelm II Land . It is located immediately east of the Posadowskybai .
It was discovered in February 1902 during the Gauss expedition (1901–1903) under the direction of the German polar explorer Erich von Drygalski , who named it after its relative location to Posadowskybai.
