Easter lamb treasure trove
Osterlamm Fundgrube was a tin mine operated in the 18th and 19th centuries in the Johanngeorgenstadt Mining Authority . Most recently it belonged to the Schwarzenberg mining area on the Hinteren Rabenberg near Breitenbrunn in the western Ore Mountains . The treasure trove, which also included a day shaft and a ping train , was mentioned as early as 1757; it was dismantled here until the end of the 19th century. This makes it one of the mines that have been in operation in this area for the longest time. For a long time it belonged to self-employed people. From 1870 the Osterlamm treasure trove was consolidated with the Prince of Peace Stolln near Erlabrunn. Since the high expectations were not met, the dismantling was stopped in 1879 and the union dissolved.
