The Easter candlestick in the former St-Jean-Baptiste cathedral in Bazas , a French town in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the 17th century. In 1908, the baroque Easter candlestick was added to the list of listed buildings ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The Easter candlestick made of walnut wood is 2.25 meters high and stands on three feet. A column tapering towards the top rises on a triangular platform, which carries the candle plate at the end.

All parts are richly decorated with carved reliefs.
