The Ostrovnaja Bay ( English ; Russian Бухта Островная Buchta Ostrownaja , German 'Island Bay' ) is a bay on the Knox coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It is located in the bungee oasis .
Scientists on a Soviet Antarctic expedition mapped it and named it in 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia transcribed this name in 1989 in a transcribed partial translation into English.
