Oswald Bockmayer

Oswald Bockmayer (born August 12, 1820 in Goßenzugen , † September 28, 1869 in Heidenheim ) was a Württemberg governor .

life and work

Oswald Bockmayer attended high school in Rottweil and Ehingen. He then studied criminal sciences in Tübingen. In 1842 and 1846 he passed the higher service exams. In 1846 and 1847 he worked as an actuary administrator at the Ludwigsburg Oberamt and from 1847 to 1850 as an actuary at the Ravensburg Oberamt. From 1850 to 1858 he was secretary and teacher of economics and law at the Hohenheim Academy. From 1858 to 1864 he headed the Oberamt Riedlingen and from 1864 until his untimely death in 1869 he headed the Oberamt Heidenheim .
