Otfried Reithinger

Otfried Reithinger (born August 28, 1938 in Kempten (Allgäu) ) is a German doctor and former senator in the Bavarian Senate .

biography

Reithinger passed his A-levels at the Kempten Humanist High School in 1958 and studied medicine in Munich , Vienna , Innsbruck and Marburg , where he also passed the medical state examination. At the Munich-Harlaching Hospital he continued his specialist training as a urologist . In this profession, as a statutory health insurance doctor and as an attending doctor, he worked at the Ebersberg district hospital . From 1976 to 1992 he was chairman of the medical district association Ebersberg and a member of the medical district association Upper Bavaria. He was also a member of the representative assembly of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in Bavaria and the board of the Bavarian Hartmann Association , of which he was deputy chairman. In 1994 he was elected to the Presidium of the Association of Liberal Professions in Bavaria, and in 1996 to the Bavarian Senate, of which he was a member until it was dissolved in 1999.
