Otfried Schwarz

Otfried Schwarz (born May 13, 1912 in Ansbach ; † March 2, 1999 in Munich ) was a German financial lawyer and federal judge.

Life

Schwarz studied law at the Friedrich Alexander University and the Free University of Berlin . In 1932 he became a member of the Corps Bavaria Erlangen . As a doctor of lawyer he joined on 1 November 1941 as Financial Assessor in the Reich Finance Administration , Service branch inch one. After serving in the war and being a prisoner of war , he was a lawyer for a short time and returned to the public service in 1948 . From 1949 to 1952 he was head of the main customs office in Würzburg and customs officer at the regional tax office in Nuremberg. In 1959 he moved to the tax jurisdiction , the customs chamber of the tax court in Nuremberg, which he headed from 1962. In 1965 he was appointed President of the Customs Senate by the Munich Finance Court. In 1967 he was appointed federal judge and member of the customs senate of the Federal Fiscal Court. He retired in May 1980. His professional life is similar to that of Rolf Grabower .
