Othmar Perler
Othmar Perler (born June 3, 1900 in Wünnewil , † December 14, 1994 in Tafers ) was a Swiss church historian .
Life
The building contractor's son, Josef, and Elisabeth born. Fasel attended high school in Engelberg . After studying theology (1921–1923) at the seminary and in 1923 and 1926 at the University of Freiburg i. Üe. he was ordained priest in 1925 . After receiving his doctorate in theology in Freiburg in 1930 and in Christian archeology in Rome in 1932, he taught from 1932 to 1971 as a professor of patristics, the history of dogma and Christian archeology in Freiburg im Üechtland .
