Otohime Iwa (from Japanese 乙 姫 岩 'Otohime rock' ) is a 137.5 m high and rocky hill on the Crown Prince Olav coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises up in the vicinity of Cape Ryūgū .
Japanese cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs from 1962 and from survey data collected from 1977 to 1978. They named it in 1979 after a princess from Japanese mythology .
