The house Ottenbergstrasse 20 is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the Alte Neustadt district of Magdeburg at the northern end of Ottenbergstrasse on its west side. A little further north, Ottenbergstrasse joins Stendaler Strasse.
Architecture and history
The three-storey plastered brick building was erected in 1881. The client was the building contractor Wilhelm Maerkert, for whom the spelling Markert can also be found. The facade of the house has seven axes and rustication on the ground floor . The two outer axes are each highlighted as flat risalits . The windows on the first floor are combined in the risalits as a pair under a triangular gable and are flanked by fluted pilasters . In 1888 the building was on its gable roof a Dormer and two roof cottage . The centrally arranged roof bay window has two small arched windows, between which there is a niche figure, the design of which is based on ancient models.
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 18035 .
