Otto-Friedrich von Schoenberg (* 24. October 1924 in Dresden , † 27. June 2008 ) was a German politician of the CDU .

He was the son of Georg Emil Christoph von Schönberg (1880–1948).

education and profession

After attending grammar school, Otto-Friedrich von Schönberg graduated from high school in 1942. He completed an agricultural apprenticeship, which he completed in 1947 with the assistant examination. He studied at the University of Göttingen and graduated in 1950 as a qualified farmer. From 1950 von Schönberg worked as a press officer at the Limburgerhof test station at BASF . From 1951 to 1955 he was deputy head of the Rheinstahl-Hanomag test department. From 1955 he worked as a self-employed farmer.

politics

Otto-Friedrich von Schönberg was a member of the German Party from 1957 to 1958 and a member of the CDU from 1968. From 1969 to 1975 he was deputy district chairman of the CDU, from 1968 to 1978 chairman of the city association of the CDU Barntrup . He became a member of the city council of Barntrup in 1956. Here he was parliamentary group chairman of the CDU from 1969 to 1975 and again from 1979. From 1975 to 1979 he acted as mayor of the city of Barntrup. Von Schönberg was a member of the district assembly from 1969 to 1975 and a member of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe from 1969 to 1973.

Otto-Friedrich von Schönberg was from May 29, 1980 to May 29, 1985 a member of the 9th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , into which he entered via the state list.
