Concert tours (selection)

As can be seen from Scott Schechter's The Liza Minnelli Scrapbook (2004), many of Minnelli's concert tours were not given a specific program title. Between the tours there were several longer guest appearances in one place, mostly in Las Vegas .

  • September 1965 to December 1967: Tour with her first nightclub program through the USA , Canada , Australia , Hawaii , Rome , Monaco ; partly accompanied by Peter Allen . Further appearances in the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico with modifications to this program followed by 1971 ; partly accompanied by pop musician Rex Kramer and his Texan band The Bojangles.
  • October 1972 to April 1973: New concert program in the USA.
  • May to December 1973: Liza with a 'Z' tour in London and the USA.
  • January 1974 to February 1975: A tour of the United States, South America , Canada and Europe follows Minnelli's Broadway show Liza .
  • September 1978 to November 1979: Tour with a two-act program with stops in the USA, Rio de Janeiro and Europe.
  • March to November 1981: Tour of the USA, Australia and Japan ; initially with Joel Gray as the opening artist.
  • October to December 1982: Tour through South Africa , Italy , Paris , the USA and Canada with a program similar to 1978/79.
  • June to December 1985: US tour with a new program.
  • May, June and September 1986: Her Liza in London program is followed by a US tour.
  • August to December 1987: Minnelli's successful concert series at New York's Carnegie Hall is followed by a tour of the USA and Europe.
  • September 1988 to July 1990: The Ultimate Event - World tour with Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis junior . Davis drops out in March 1990 for health reasons.
  • November 1989 and February 1990: Promotional tour for Results through Europe.
  • June to December 1991: Liza Stepping Out Tour of the USA and Europe between her guest appearances at Radio City Music Hall . Until December 1996 Minnelli gave concerts all over the world. In the summer of 1996 she went on a concert tour with Dudley Moore on the occasion of Arthur's 15th anniversary .
  • March and April 2000: Minnelli on Minnelli tour of the USA.
