Otto Aichbichler

Otto Aichbichler (born May 16, 1908 in Unterbruckendorf, Sankt Georgen am Längsee , Carinthia; † February 8, 1997 in Sankt Veit an der Glan ) was a Carinthian farmer and author.

Aichbichler was born as the grandson of the Reichstag member Josef Aichbichler and the son of a landowner and attended the lower school of the Stiftsgymnasium St. Paul , where he was a student of Switbert Lobisser , and an agricultural secondary school. He was a weather warden on the Sonnblick for a year before taking over his father's farm. In 1934 he wrote the novel The Unfree .

In the same year he married the writer Dolores Viesèr . As a result, he concentrated on the operation of agriculture and an art mill. In 1940 he only wrote an extensive introduction to the Lobisser book .
