Otto Brandenburg (born February 11, 1923 in Cologne ; † January 24, 2010 there ) was a German ice hockey player and coach .
Career
Otto Brandenburg joined the Cologne EK in 1936 , for which he played until 1950. He then moved to Preussen Krefeld before moving back to Cologne EK from 1955. There he ended his active career as a player. In 1951 he became German champions with the Krefeld team . After the end of his playing career, Otto Brandenburg coached the Cologne EK team.
International
Otto Brandenburg made nine appearances for the national team , took part in the 1953 World Cup and was the first national player from Cologne.
