Otto Brussow

Otto Brussow (* in Stettin ; † 1510 ) was a German Roman Catholic theologian and university professor.

Otto Brussow, originally from Szczecin, was enrolled at the University of Greifswald in 1493 . In 1496 he received his master's degree . In 1502 he became a member of the artist faculty , whose deanery he led several times from 1503, and at the same time full professor of theology and canon at the collegiate monastery of St. Nikolai . In 1504, 1506 and 1509 he was rector of the university.

Otto Brussow died of the plague in 1510. In his will he bequeathed the seven-volume Bible postil of Hugo von St. Charo to the artist faculty and the Franciscan monastery .
