Dragahn is a district of the Karwitz community in the Elbtalaue municipality in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
The village lies west of the core area of Karwitz north of the B 191 .
history
Dragahn moved into focus in the 1980s as the location for a nuclear reprocessing plant . The decision was made in favor of the Wackersdorf reprocessing plant in Bavaria.
