Gamehlen is a district of the municipality of Karwitz in the joint municipality of Elbtalaue in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
geography
The place is two kilometers south of Karwitz the seat of the municipality and the federal highway 191 .
history
For the year 1848 it is stated that Gamehlen had two residential buildings as Vorwerk , in which 21 residents lived. At the time the place was parish to Dannenberg , the school was in Prisser . On December 1, 1910, Gamehlen as an estate district in the Dannenberg district had 26 inhabitants. On July 1, 1972, Gamehlen was incorporated into the Karwitz community.
