Otto C. Honegger

Otto C. Honegger (born March 23, 1945 ) is a Swiss journalist and was the head of the DOK editorial team of Swiss television (SF).

He studied economics at the University of St. Gallen , where he received his lic. oec. After completing his studies, he worked from 1970 as a freelance journalist at what was then SF DRS and was a reporter in the Rundschau's international team . In 1975 he became deputy head of the Rundschau . He later directed the programs Zeitspiegel and Netto . Between 1990 and 2008 Otto C. Honegger headed the documentary film editorial team (DOK) and was therefore responsible for all in-house productions and purchases of the DOK and Traces of Time series . He also writes as a freelance journalist for Die Weltwoche, among others .

In his private life, Honegger is interested in Buddhism , diving , trekking and paragliding and has been an underwater photographer for 30 years .
