Otto tiles
Otto Fliesen (born May 16, 1888 in Eisenberg (Palatinate) , † October 2, 1967 in Mannheim ) was a German entrepreneur and politician.
Career
Tiles was born as the son of a chamotte manufacturer . After secondary school and business school, he attended the business academy in Calw. In 1907 he joined the family-owned company. In 1910 he received power of attorney and became commercial director on January 1, 1923. Under his leadership, the company developed into the largest single factory for chamotte in Germany.
From 1951 to 1955 he was a member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate as a member of the FDP .
